The Randys LIVE

In 2017, Katelyn Stewart, Kehrt Etherton, and Jason Smith founded the indie rock band The Randys. Fans often ask where the name The Randys came from, which all three members have been trained to say it is a reference from the movie Slingblade. However, if you ask Katelyn privately, she will say it was intentionally stolen from the Columbus, Ohio, The Randys. When they are ready to have a band battle, “We are ready.” Their first EP, For the Little Birds, was released in 2019, and since then, they have published several singles, including Love Spectacle, Cemetrey Trot, The Canopy, Sally, and Larkin. They have been featured on shows such as The SPIEL and CBS. Additionally, their music has been featured on radio stations in the mid-west. In June of 2024, they are set to release their first full-length album, The Menagerie.
